For the past 40 years: we are proud to have made a positive difference to many thousands of people in and around Amber Valley, Derbyshire, through our creative workshops, projects, events, mentoring and support.
Our well-respected and inclusive work has been delivered through collaborations with hundreds of quality artists, performers and organisations. We aim, through art engagement, to increase well-being and encourage self-expression across all ages and abilities.
To do this, we work with a wide variety of groups and particularly those considered at risk of social exclusion (by financial hardship, poor education/attainment, unemployment, disability/health issues, ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, age…):-
Families - including those on low incomes/Young/Displaced
Schools - including Home Education/SEN/Referral/Primary & Secondary
Young - adults including Youth Council/Unemployed/Youth & LGBTQ+ Groups/Social Care/Musicians & Creatives
Adults - including Arts & Crafts Groups/Carers/NHS staff/Health issues/Creatives
Elders - including Sheltered Housing/Memory Cafes/Hospitals/Care homes
Community - including Art Trails/Markets/Festivals/Voluntary group support
Also…we like to put on public events, to share and promote arts and culture, for all to enjoy!
