Known locally as the “Campy Growers”, we are the biggest community garden in Dundee, with eight acres dedicated to food production and looking after our local wildlife. We have two enormous polytunnels heaving with tomatoes, lots of different kinds of beans and the inevitable beetroot as well as salads and all kinds of veg! Working mostly with volunteers, we have huge potential to produce significant amounts of fresh food within the city. As well as gardening opportunities, we offer education and training, cooking sessions, film nights, outdoor activities and lots of fresh, healthy, accessible produce! We are located in the heart of the well-loved Camperdown Country park: in partnership with Dundee City Council, we are taking over this derelict, unloved site and turning it into a thriving, beautiful community growing space. We are registered as a SCIO and our purposes are to:Advance health and wellbeingPromote environmental improvementAdvance education and skills, particularly related to food (growing cooking, eating)
