Sam’s story
Hello everyone, my name is Sam; I was a student at the University of Bath and am now working in Hull. I am glad that I have a place in the Bath Half 2023 for AID International, a unique charity supporting other charities by building teams and supporting their projects in multiple countries such as Zambia, India and Guatemala. The charity also partners with multiple charities to tackle poverty, build homes and assist their education systems, as some charities are looking after orphans and street children. In addition, I have met the guys in AID International through the church (Life Church Bath) I was involved in when I was a student in Bath, and these people are generous in everything they have. The photo below is evidence of a Bath Half Race Tag I participated in during the lockdown season (2020). Therefore, I hope that I can make the most of the advantage to re-kindle with my friends in Bath on top of this Bath Half 2023, and looking forward to the race.
