I'm writing to share an exciting challenge I'm undertaking this July. I'll be walking, running, and hiking a total of 100 kilometers in an effort to raise awareness and support for a cause very dear to me - Mind Cymru, a dedicated charity working tirelessly on mental health issues.
My connection to Mind Cymru is deeply rooted in my personal experiences and the battles I've seen those close to me wage against mental health struggles. Mind Cymru has proven to be a vital beacon, offering valuable advice, support, and challenging the way society perceives mental health.
Our collective goal for this event is to clock up 2000km in July, the equivalent of reaching our furthest offices across Europe. It's an ambitious target that symbolises our unity and commitment to the cause. Some team members will even be walking the entire length of the Taff Trail in just 24 hours, a hefty 89km! As much as I admire their tenacity, I'm not quite in the position to take on such an enormous task. But every contribution counts and I'm excited to participate by walking 100km throughout the month. My goal is to put in consistent effort every day, and with every step, contribute to our collective cause.
However, I need your assistance. You can help by donating, sharing this message, or just having a conversation about mental health. Every bit of support is crucial. Your contribution will help Mind Cymru carry on their essential work and promote wider understanding and acceptance of mental health issues.
Please join me this July in my 100km journey. It's a small but significant way of making a difference - for Mind Cymru, for those living with mental health issues, and for a more understanding society.
Thank you for your support,
