CatZero Yacht: Securing the Next 25 Years

For more than 25 years, CatZero has been far more than a yacht. She has been a vehicle for change, helping thousands of young people, families, veterans and adults facing unemployment to build confidence, develop skills and take positive steps forward in their lives.

This winter, CatZero will undergo one of the most significant refits in her history. Our ambition is simple: to ensure she remains safe, seaworthy and capable of transforming lives for at least another 25 years.

To achieve this, CatZero will be lifted from the water and undergo a comprehensive structural inspection and refurbishment. Working alongside specialist marine contractors, our dedicated volunteer team will help oversee a programme of works that includes inspection of the vessel's steel structure, refurbishment of key systems, renewal of protective coatings and completion of her five-year coding inspection.

The project will ensure CatZero continues to meet the highest standards of safety and compliance while preserving a unique asset that is central to everything we do.

This investment is not simply about maintaining a vessel. It is about safeguarding opportunities for future generations. Every young person who gains confidence, every family that rebuilds relationships, and every veteran who finds renewed purpose through CatZero's programmes relies on this remarkable vessel continuing to serve our community.
