Stephen’s story
On October the 14th, I'm going to abseil 80 meters off the Mittal tower in Stratford.
But this is not your normal abseil, there's no bouncing off the building because this is known as a “Hanging rappel”. It's the same technique that elite soldiers use to navigate inaccessible terrains and has been chosen by the charity because of their connections to military service.
Legasee’s volunteer filmmakers, writers and educators are passionate about preserving military heritage. Their hi-definition video archive features exclusive interviews with Veterans from 1939 to the present day and is an an invaluable record of modern military history.
