Kyriacos’s story
On Saturday 14th October 2023, 14 year old me will be abseiling down the ArcelorMittal Orbit at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford. It is the UK’s tallest sculpture, standing at 114.5 metres tall and I will be using the same abseil technique used by elite soldiers to make my way down.
I will be risking life and limb for the Legasee Educational Trust, which is a charity who educates young people like me and raises awareness about the bravery, service and sacrifice our military personnel have made over the past century.
Any support, no matter how small will be gratefully received to enable the charity to continue their work and improve the way they deliver education in our schools and universities.
