Carolyn’s story
I have a long-standing connection with Kenya, and a wonderful charity that cares for, protects and nurture’s ‘child mothers’ and their babies. Sadly this is still a reality in Kenya. Young girls who become pregnant through no fault of their own face a very risky future. The Beehive, in Nakuru, Kenya, is a home that provides safety, medical treatment, education love and care for these young girls and their children. The 2 newest arrivals have been born to girls aged just 10 and 13. Just children themselves, Caesarian sections and hospital stays are needed which are very costly.
