Sarah’s story
To celebrate 30 years of the Beamsley Project Charitable Trust, one of our Trustees, Lynda, is creating a very special stitched sampler to mark this milestone year.
The idea is simple and meaningful: you buy a stitch, and each stitch represents a donation towards our work. As the sampler grows, it will become a beautiful visual reminder of the many people who have supported the Beamsley Project throughout our 30th birthday celebrations.
At the Beamsley Project, we’re dedicated to fostering independence, inclusion and accessibility. Our charity provides fully accessible self‑catering holiday accommodation in the Yorkshire Dales, opening up the joys of travel, respite and adventure to people with disabilities, their families and carers. We work to break down barriers and create welcoming spaces where everyone can relax, explore and make lasting memories.
When completed, the sampler will be proudly displayed at the Beamsley Project as a lasting memento of this special year, a symbol of community, care and generosity, with every stitch telling a story of support and inclusion.
By taking part, you are not only helping us raise vital funds to continue supporting people in need of accessible, barrier‑free experiences you are also becoming part of a unique piece of our history. Thank you for helping us stitch together 30 years of compassion, support, inclusion and hope.
