Heather’s story
Staff at YHEC will be taking part in a 24-hour hybrid relay challenge that will unite office-based and remote colleagues through a continuous relay of running, walking and cycling (or other exercise of their choice), all while a 4,000-piece jigsaw puzzle is pieced together at the YHEC office.
YHEC will be raising vital funds for Move the Masses, a charity dedicated to the simple but life-changing power of a walk. Through their Move Mates project, they provide walking buddies for people who would otherwise find it difficult or intimidating to leave their homes. The impact is profound: by providing confidence and moral support, their volunteers help improve mental and physical health, reduce isolation, and quite simply, make people feel happier.

Match-funding
As a company, YHEC will match-fund up to £5,000 fundraised throughout 2026 - so for every £1 raised by YHEC staff, the company will give a further £1! Please support this cause by making a donation today.
