Precious’s story
Hello!
I'm excited to take part in the Sage Total Warrior 2023 challenge, a physical event that includes 25 outdoor obstacles and a 12k run which I am nowhere near conditioned for. We are FUNdraising to support Veterans at Ease, a UK charity that is committed to helping Veterans, Reservists, Serving Military Personnel and their families deal with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other combat stress-related issues.
My father is a veteran of the U.S. Army, now retired after serving 20 years. We travelled a lot when I was younger, from state to state as well as abroad, experiencing a wide range of people, places and cultures. I grew up in the military community, surrounded by people willing to risk their lives to serve their country and always feel a sense of duty to give back when I can. Participating in this event and supporting Veterans at Ease is a way of showing appreciation to those who have made a great sacrifice to keep us all safe.
