Hannah’s story
As a receiving charity of this event, we are delighted to have a boat in the race.
1 in 7 babies born in the UK need the care of a Neonatal Unit, whether they be poorly at birth or premature arrivals. The Oliver Fisher Neonatal Unit (OFNU) is a level 3 unit that takes the more poorly and most premature babies from Medway and Swale but also throughout Kent. Our charity aims to fundraise to make sure that there is a gold standard of care available for these tiniest of patients. With about 1,200 babies passing through OFNU per year, our funds provide vital and extra care beyond NHS funding. This allows support to be given not just to patients, but also their families who are also in need of care, support & comfort during stays.
We are so appreciative that you have chosen to support our rowers, this event and our charity by donating today. THANK YOU!
