Catherine’s story
Thanks to kind support from Children First International (UK Charity Number: 1057811) I am running to raise money for All Yours Period Box which was set up by my sister-in-law and niece on December 2020 to relieve period poverty in their local community.
The community project has now delivered almost 7000 period boxes to individuals and families across West Berkshire, South Oxfordshire, Reading, Basingstoke and Wiltshire. All Yours also delivers period education to young women and girls in schools to ensure that they have a good understanding of their menstrual health before they leave school.
All Yours provides both disposable and reusable period products to women, girls and people who have periods through partnerships with community organisations such as food banks, community larders, youth groups and community centres. They also accept individual requests for help through their website and have a network of over 42 volunteers who help deliver boxes within the local communities they support.
Fundraising Targets
All funds raised will be passed to the charity irrespective of whether my target is reached, not reached or exceeded.
