Serena’s story
Jump4You Jumping Marathon to help raise money for the Cost of Cancer - 3rd February 2024
As many of you will be aware, Serena's husband has been battling Cancer since December 2022, without success of being able to kick it. He has received radiotherapy, surgery and now on a trial of immunotherapy and chemotherapy.
It has been an extremely tough year for their little family, but a small charity, 'The Cost of Cancer' helped them, when her husband was unable to work, helping to pay for some of their utility bills.
Serena would like to give something back to this charity, who do so much good for small families, when the outlook is daunting and financial help should be the last thing that anyone needs to worry about. With this in mind we will be holding a charity Jump4You marathon on Saturday 3rd February, to raise lots of pennies for this amazing charity. The event is kindly being hosted free of charge at The Post Barn, part of The Vineyard and Donnington Valley Group in Newbury.
There will be, three 45 min sessions; 9am, 10am and 11am...Do one, two or all three!
The event will be free of charge to attend; we just ask you to dig into those pockets for donations, with 100% of the money raised being donated to 'The Cost of Cancer.' There will also be a raffle, with lots of goodies to win.
Lets make this a fab event, raise awareness, money and have a giggle, whilst getting fit at your favourite exercise class.

All funds raised will be passed to the charity irrespective of whether my target is reached, not reached or exceeded.
