David’s story
Sarah and I have a real fear of heights, even when watching TV! On Saturday the 14th Oct 2023, we will be facing this fear by completing a 262 feet freefall abseil from the top of the Orbit, at the London Olympic Park.
We will be fundraising for the charity Legasee, a team of volunteer film makers, writers, designers and storytellers who are passionate about capturing our military heritage. The charity provides students, teachers and researchers with a unique access to a hi-definition video archive of interviews with Veterans of military conflict from 1939 to the present day.
So please donate generously to recognise how scared Sarah and I will be in completing this abseil, and to continue the funding for a truly fabulous organisation.
