Steven’s story
I am doing the Lostock 6 Road Race on 25th February and have decided to take donations / sponsorship for the Oasis Cancer Trust. I have chosen this charity because a good friend of mine Steven Charleston who has had tonsil cancer and undergone 33 sessions of radiotherapy and two 19 hour chemo sessions for treatment for this horrible disease. This will raise awareness of the charity as well as providing funds for future research and training.
Steven has had amazing care and treatment by the Christies Proton Beam team and the Manchester Royal Infirmary team and he has had regular checkups and is doing really well.
Any donation however small or large will go a long way to helping the charity in the future. Please dont forget the gift aid - every little helps.
Thank you
