Wendy’s story
I'm just an ordinary person doing my best to make life a little easier for my mum and dad.
As a family, we've arranged a cruise to the Norwegian fjords, which we know will probably be our last together. It will be a chance to make precious memories while we still can.
If taking on this challenge gives me the opportunity to make life a little better for other families facing dementia, then I am all for it!
The dip itself and especially the after-effects, genuinely scare me. But I hope that fear can be turned into something positive, and that the funds we raise will reflect the size of the challenge.
