I am wanting to raise money through your sponsorship with all donations going to the Doncaster Support Group, Parkinson's UK and the national charity Parkinson's UK.
We are aiming to swim the equivalent of the English Channel not once, not twice but eight times!!! A total of 168 miles. Most of the swimming would take place at Manvers lake South Yorkshire but it is possible for indoor swimmers to complete their distance before September 7th and add their total to the list.
Every 100m completed by a swimmer will count towards the grand total of 168 miles.
I am trying to encourage lots of people to give a smallish amount anything up to £5 for this deserving charity as happened 2 years ago when so many people were so generous.
I was diagnosed as living with Parkinson's in 2021and have felt really supported by the local Doncaster group and welcome your money now!
