Tesco Produce Charity Challenge 2026

We are aiming to raise £25,000 to support the vital work of The Country Trust.

The Tesco Produce Team are passionate about helping families make healthier choices, especially when it comes to getting more fruit and vegetables onto children’s plates. But we also know lasting change starts with education, access, and experience.

That’s why we’re proud to be fundraising in aid of The Country Trust, the UK’s leading educational charity connecting children from areas of high social and economic disadvantage with the land that sustains us all.

The Country Trust is the only national-scale charity exclusively focused on connecting disadvantaged children with food, farming and nature. They are the largest provider of free, tailored visits to working farms in England. Through these hands-on experiences they aim to empower children to be confident, curious and create change in their lives so that they and society can thrive. Their real, child-first approach allows children to discover that our lives, our health, our food and the natural world are deeply connected. Last year alone, The Country Trust reached an incredible 62,090 children across their programmes, and welcomed 20,402 children to real, working farms.

So, what are the Produce team doing to raise this money?

Firstly, on Thursday 25th June, 14 brave colleagues will take on the National Three Peaks Challenge, aiming to complete all three peaks within 24 hours. Starting at 6am at Ben Nevis, the team will push themselves to reach the summit of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, with the goal of finishing by 6am the following day — a huge physical challenge, and one we hope to conquer within the 24-hour target!

Then, on 17th September, we’ll be hosting a Tesco Produce Sports Day for our supplier partners and colleagues. This will bring everyone together for a day of fun, teamwork, and fundraising.
