Sephy’s story
Staff at YHEC will be walking a 38.6-km circular trail, commencing in Ribblesdale, North Yorkshire to raise funds for MoveMates. Traditionally, the walk is completed in under 12 hours.
YHEC as a company will match-fund up to £5,000. For every £1 raised by YHEC staff, the company will give a further £1. We’re working to hit our fundraising target this year, so any support is greatly appreciated!
Move Mates is a walking buddy project, which makes getting out for a walk a reality for people who would otherwise find it difficult to leave their homes. The aim of the project is to give people the confidence and moral support to leave their homes and go for a walk, improving their physical and mental health, as well as reducing isolation.

All funds raised will be passed to the charity irrespective of whether my target is reached, not reached or exceeded.
