On the edge of Exmoor in North Devon, Fleecehaven is currently home to in excess of 120 retired and rescued sheep. Each and every sheep rescued by Fleecehaven is provided with permanent sanctuary, with a guaranteed life of loving care and attention. Sheep arrive at Fleecehaven from across the UK, many having experienced significant neglect and remain at the sanctuary for the rest of their natural life. Fleecehaven is a small, family run charity. The day-to-day running of Fleecehaven is carried out by Emma, with assistance from her Mum, Anne. Emma’s sister, Jayne, undertakes the administration of the charity, including our Adopt-a-Sheep Scheme and attendance at fundraising events such as VegFestUK. The youngest member of the Fleecehaven team is Jayne's son, Henry, who aspires to expand the sanctuary to include pigs and other farm animals when he grows up and takes over! Since February 2020, Fleecehaven has also received sustained voluntary fund-raising support from Michelle for whom, along with our many other supporters, we are forever grateful.
