David’s story
After the last Total Warrior event my friend and I were approached by a volunteer for the Charity 'Veterans At Ease'.
We chatted about the event, and the charity and all that they get involved in.
We really respected what they do and for me it hit home a little more as my best bud is currently serving in the RAF.
After having experienced some trauma myself (nothing on a military scale) I have an appreciation of the effects of PTSD and the need for support.
This Charity does exactly that for those that chose a role which has a direct impact on keeping us all safe!
Also any excuse to game for 24 Hours is a bonus for me!
I'm just happy to share the effect that this will have on me for the enjoyment of all.
Equally, the Total Warrior event will be a great laugh itself. 12km muddy run with 25 obstacles to navigate, mud, flood and maybe a little blood awaits!
I'll be taking part with a few friends with a complete mix of physical abilities so we will definitely have to support one another in order to progress through the course and obstacles!
Let's get it and raise some money for charity in the process!
