Violet’s story
I’ve been part of 4th Golcar Scouts for the past 9 years and am now an Explorer. During that time I’ve really enjoyed everything about scouting – especially the camps, hiking, sleeping in tents and all the outdoor adventures.
This summer our group is travelling to Kanderstag in Switzerland for two weeks, which will be our last international trip together as a troop. To help raise money for the trip, we’re taking on a challenge inspired by the Eiger by completing 18 laps of the Newsome Scout Hut at Castle Hill, covering around 27 miles.
We’re hoping to raise enough to help make the trip a great experience for everyone, and any support is really appreciated.
